President and Chief Executive Officer
Carol Sim, RN, MPH

Education
College: Columbia University School of Nursing
Graduate School: Columbia University Health Policy and Management

Prior to arriving at RHCI, Carol served as CEO of a visiting nurse association in Connecticut and as a director in the hospital administration at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Carol's clinical experience is in rehabilitation nursing, having graduated from Columbia University's School of Nursing. She also holds a Master's degree in Health Policy and Management from Columbia University.

Carol currently serves on the board and as chair of the nominating committee of the Cape Symphony Orchestra and is vice president of the Consumer Assistance Council. She also serves as a trustee of the Cape Cod Technology Council and a corporator of Cape Cod Cooperative Bank. Previously, she served as treasurer of the Community Leadership Institute and won the organization's Cape Cod Leadership award in 2005.

David M. Lowell, M.D.

Education
Medical School: Boston University School of Medicine

Residency: North Shore University Hospital - Cornell Medical Center
Fellowship: Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Neuropsychiatry

Interests
Behavioral and psychiatric issues associated with neurologic conditions including brain injury, stroke, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy and developmental disabilities; gait and balance disorders.


Vice President of Clinical Services
Stephanie Nadolny, MHA

Education
College: University of New Hampshire, BS, 1987
Graduate School: University of New Hampshire, MHA, 1996

Stephanie joined RHCI in 1997 as the Director of Inpatient Programs. Her previous experience includes serving as Rehabilitation Program Director for Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. Her clinical background is in Therapeutic Recreation.

Stephanie's responsibilities include overseeing inpatient services, ancillary services (pharmacy, radiology, respiratory), risk management, quality management, medical records, admissions/patient care coordination, purchasing, dietary and environmental services.

Vice President, Planning and Business Development
Todd Herrmann, MBA

Education
College: Dartmouth College
Graduate School: Wharton School (University of PA)

Todd has more than twenty years experience in health care management. Before joining RHCI, he focused on planning and marketing for hospitals and physician groups and held the position of Director of Strategic Planning at Children's Hospital, Boston.

At RHCI, Todd's responsibilities include business planning, payor contracting and corporate compliance. He also oversees outpatient operations, marketing and community relations, and facilities and engineering.

Director of Ambulatory Services
James McNamara, M.S.P.T.

College: State University of New York, Plattsburgh
Graduate School: Columbia University, MS in Physical Therapy

Jim directs all of outpatient services at RHCI and at its five outpatient centers. Prior to joining RHCI he was Clinical Program Manager at Danbury Hospital; Director of Rehabilitation at Putnam Ridge Skilled Nursing Center; and Director of Rehabilitation at The SportsCare Institute.


Director of Community Relations
Carole A. Stasiowski

Education
College: B.A., American International College, Springfield, MA
Graduate School: M.A., Trinity College, Hartford, CT

Carole began her career in health care public relations at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Hartford, CT, where she held various positions culminating in the Director of Public Relations. Before joining RHCI when the hospital opened in 1995, she worked as a freelance writer specializing in health care for clients in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Carole is responsible for directing the hospital's community relations and marketing activities, including media relations, advertising, community outreach and public relations activities.

Director of Development
Mary Patstone

College: Saint Michael's College

Graduate School: Saint Michael's College

Mary Patstone began her career in the nonprofit arena at New Partners International Relief Foundation for Children, Inc. located in the Washington DC metro area. Then, after returning to her New England home, she worked for the American Red Cross in New Hampshire and Massachusetts for over ten years in several capacities ranging from Director of Development and Public Relations to Chief Operations Officer. Early in 2006, Ms. Patstone made a shift from the human services arena to healthcare when she became the Director of Development for the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Cape and Islands.

I truly believe it is my life's work to match people with opportunities to help their neighbors, and ultimately, their communities. Director of Human Resources
Del Pontremoli

Education
College: Bachelor of Arts, Framingham State College
Graduate School: Masters of Arts, Human Resource Management, Framingham State College

Del has extensive experience in Human Resources. She worked at MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham, MA for more than 30 years as Manager of Recruitment and Compensation before joining RHCI.
