Medicare Certified

RHCI is certified by Medicare  as an acute rehabilitation hospital because it meets extensive criteria, including the following:

• Patient care is managed by full-time rehabilitation physicians
• Patients are seen by a physician at least every 2 – 3 days, often daily
• Physicians are on site 365 days a year, including nights and weekends
• Nursing staff includes specially trained rehabilitation nurses
• Patients receive comprehensive, intensive therapies and other rehabilitation services an average of 3 hours a day
