
Cancer Rehabilitation
The focus of cancer rehabilitation is to help individuals to achieve their highest potential in physical function, pain relief and quality of life. Patients’ goals typically include improving strength and endurance after surgery, chemotherapy or other medical intervention so they can safely return home.
Program components include:

Coordinated, intensive therapies to promote maximum functional improvement

Extensive case management with links for ongoing treatment after discharge

Communication and coordination of specific care needs with involved community physicians (primary care physician, oncologist)
