Additional Services Available through the RHCI Center for NeuroRecovery

• Audiology
• Brace Clinic
• On-site swallowing studies (modified barium swallow)
• Respiratory therapy, including tracheostomy management and weaning
• roadSMART Driver Assessment Program
• Vestibular Rehabilitation (balance disorders)
• Vital-Stim therapy for impaired swallowing

Outpatient Services
Following discharge from RHCI, patients often need continuing rehabilitation to improve daily function and to help them return to social, work and leisure activities.  RHCI physicians provide services for patients with neurological disorders and follow-up care for discharged inpatients.  They can coordinate care with physical, occupational and speech therapists at the hospital's four outpatient centers.  Case management services are available for additional coordination with community resources to assist patients with complex needs.  

RHCI outpatient centers are located in Sandwich, Yarmouth and Orleans.
