Aquatic Therapy

RHCI offers aquatic therapy to both adult and pediatric patients in a pool specially-designed for rehabilitative hydrotherapy.

• Services available to patients with orthopedic and/or neurological impairments
• Initial evaluation by either a physical or occupational therapist to establish individualized plan of care
• Warm-water (94-97° F) therapeutic pool with 4-foot shallow end suitable for gait training, balance training and weight bearing activities; deep end suitable for non-weight bearing activities and spinal unloading.
• Hydraulic lift available for non-ambulatory patients
