Falls Prevention
Falls Prevention is designed to reduce the risk of falls for individuals with balance, weakness and gait deficits due to the aging process or medical conditions.* Based on the results of a physical therapy evaluation, the patient will be placed on a therapy program. Components of the program may include endurance and strength training, gait training, balance training and safety education.
Referrals may be made by a primary care physician, specialty physician or home care agency.
