
roadSMART Driver Assessment Program
- A driver assessment program to help individuals whose driving ability has been compromised by illness, injury or normal aging or who have had a recent change in status that could affect their ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- 90-minute evaluation of visual, physical and cognitive abilities essential to safe driving
- Assessment of readiness to return to driving, including recommendations for adaptations and other compensatory strategies
- Service is not affiliated with the Registry of Motor Vehicles and cannot alter RMV decisions, but staff are required to report results to the RMV.
- Self-pay program. Cost not covered by insurance. Please call for fee schedule.
- Physician referral required.
