Site Manager

Tara Souve, PT:  Tara earned her B.S. in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac College in 1993. Currently the Pediatric Program Manager at Spaulding for Children, she specializes in medically complex pediatric diagnoses, developmental delay, neurologic disorders, torticollis, orthotics/prosthetic management, and DME evaluations.


Therapy Staff

Leah Brodeur, MPT:  Leah received her B.S. from the University of Pittsburgh and her Master of Physical Therapy from Rutgers University of Medicine and Dentistry. She specializes in pediatrics, aquatics, seating and positioning/DME, and developmental diagnoses. Leah is a trained and experienced pediatric aquatic therapist with experience developing aquatics programs. She is an ASD and Developmental Specialist.
   
Lisa Coolidge, MOT, OTR/L:  Lisa received her B.A. in Psychology 1995 from UMass Boston and her MOT from Springfield College in 1998. She has worked in special education within the school system and has special interest in pediatrics and sensory integration therapy.
   
Nadine Essency, MS, SLP:  After receiving her B.S. in Communication Disorders from Emerson College, Nadine achieved her M.S. in Communication Disorders from Southern Connecticut State University in 1976. With more than 30 years pediatric experience, Nadine’s areas of specialization include apraxia, autism spectrum disorder, early intervention and articulation.
   
Christine Kirby, MS, CCC-SLP:  Christine earned both her B.S. and M.S. in Communication Disorders from Northeastern University. She joined Spaulding in 2007 and specializes in early IA childhood language development, autism, communication disorders, feeding disorders, and articulation/phonological disorders. Christine formerly worked in a literacy research project in Boston involving underprivileged/homeless children.
   
Lauren Marble, MS, CCC-SLP:  Lauren received her B.S. in Psychology from Macalester College in 1997, and her M.S. in Communication Science and Disorders from Emerson College in 2003. She is proficient in treating autism, augmentative and alternative communication, articulation and language disorders. Lauren is in the process of developing RHCI for Children’s AAC Program and previously completed a clinical practicum at the Communication Enhancement Center at Children’s Hospital Boston.
   
Sarah Minty, OTR/L:  Sarah graduated from Thomas Jefferson University College of Health Professionals in 1998 with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy. She had several years of prior experience as a Therapeutic Assistant working with children under three years of age. After graduation she continued full time with the pediatric population in Early Intervention and Intermediary and Secondary School settings. Joining Spaulding in December of 2008, Sarah’s special interests and experience include the infant and baby population, sensory integration, feeding, and upper extremity splinting.
   
Stacy Pacuska, DPT:  Stacy earned her B.S. in both Biology and Psychology at Chatham College in Pittsburgh, followed by her Masters and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2001. Her areas of specialization include pediatrics, manual therapy, including Muscle Energy Techniques, craniosacral therapy, aquatics, TMJ disorders and pelvic/sacroiliac disorders. Also a certified pre- and post-natal instructor, Stacy volunteers with Shriner’s adaptive ice hockey program and has been involved with therapeutic riding and adolescent obesity programs in the past.
   
Cheryl Pelletier, MS, CCC-SLP:  Cheryl received her B.S. in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Elmira College in 1985, and her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern University in 1987. With more than 20 years experience, Cheryl specializes in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders, pediatric oral-motor speech disorders, and is a Certified Lactation Counselor. Cheryl developed the Feeding and Nutrition Program at Spaulding for Children. With personal interests in nutrition, wellness, creative cooking, Cheryl is an adaptive ski instructor and proficient in sign language. Cheryl is also a recent recipient of an ASHA Advanced Continuing Education Award.
   
Ann-Marie Walker, PTA:   Ann-Marie received her A.S. as a Physical Therapist's Assistant from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Specializing in myofascial release, Reiki, adaptive aquatics and NDT training, Ann-Marie has been a licensed PTA for more than 25 years and is a Certified Pediatric Yoga Instructor. Ann-Marie is a former clinical faculty member at the University of Alabama at Birmingham teaching child development. She volunteers for Special Olympics and established a program for siblings of children with special needs.
