At RHCI, a commitment to excellence in providing rehabilitation care is the cornerstone of our mission.  Our physicians, nurses, therapists and other staff have earned a reputation for providing Expert Care and Exceptional Caring year after year.  In the most recent compilation of patient satisfaction surveys, for example, RHCI received a 99% overall satisfaction rating and a 97% rating for including families in the rehabilitation process. 

Though RHCI has many advanced technologies to enhance the recovery process, rehabilitation is fundamentally a "high touch," step-by-step process built on a foundation of trust and collaboration among members of the rehabilitation team, including patients and families.  Our patient-centered model of care encourages the active participation of patients and families so that we can provide the very best care to foster each patient's fullest possible recovery. 

Our convenient location allows families to visit and assume supportive roles throughout the rehabilitation process.  The rehabilitation team's role includes educating the patient and family about the rehabilitation process, management of any underlying health issues, preparing for discharge, and prevention of future illness or injury.
 
Helping patients to help themselves is a major focus of rehabilitation. We encourage patients to work towards their goals by doing as much as they can within the guidelines established by their team of caregivers. At the same time, we are always available to assist patients when they need our help.
