In general, insurance plans cover most rehabilitation services prescribed by a physician. Our staff can assist with questions regarding referrals and insurance.

RHCI has contracts with most major insurance carriers. We are often able to negotiate admission with other insurers on a case-by-case basis. If there is any question about your eligibility for admission to RHCI, a Patient Care Coordinator can facilitate discussion with your insurance company and/or physician.

RHCI is a Medicare-approved provider of hospital-level rehabilitation. We also accept:

• Medicaid
• Most commercial insurances
• CHAMPUS and other military insurance plans

RHCI is a network provider for the following insurers:

• Blue Cross/Blue Shield
• Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare (including First Seniority®)
• Tufts Health Plan (including Tufts Medicare Preferred)

RHCI is also an affiliated member of Physicians of Cape Cod, Inc., an independent practice association of 300 local physicians.
